Guys, most of the time if not always, get this line; "be a man!"
I do not deny that sometimes we do have to toughen up and BE a man.
BUT,
What makes a man?
Is it his courage? Girls/ladies/women (let's just use girls) have courage.
Is it his strength/toughness? Some girls are stronger/tougher than men.
Is it his looks? Now, why does that matter?
Is it his ego? Girls have egos.
Is it his certain unorthodox methods at doing something? Girls can be unorthodox as well.
So, when we say "be a man!"
WHAT exactly, makes a man?

What makes a man, a man, is his character.

He is not a man, if he judges.
He is not a man, if he stops believing.
A man is a MAN, if he knows how to love, respect, honour, protect, BELIEVE, not judge, help, be loyal, always patient, always kind, always listening, always open, always there.
Basically, a man is a man not more than how much a woman is a woman.
We're the same.
Just character wise, we are different.
We want the same things.
We are who we choose to be.

hmmm, i believe men and women are different because God created us that way. That is why we are same in flesh but different on character and speaking.

What makes a man?
ReplyDeleteOf course, strong, egoistical, stoic or even logical kind of men are way too generalized. If all men are this way then we wouldn't see any male artist today.
Then what really makes a man?
It is he who dare to question and dare to change, ALWAYS. A man can be strong and become proud of it but at the same time willing to admit his weakness and take responsibility for it.
THAT'S a real man. He learns to be strong and yet humble at the same time.
Actually, it's the same thing for women.
Only, the latter comes first.
But then again, no one person is ever the same to the other in this world. Thus even my generalization is just true only to some degree.
In the end we can see how the world is, flowing in harmony between fire and water, darkness and light, earth and sky, and so on.
There's a balance for everything.
Damn, I think I'm being way too philosophical. I'm sorry if I sounded like somewhat rambling though haha.
